Session Description

This panel discussion focuses on claims and injury management within the first 30 days the injury date. The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) and managed care organization (MCO) staff discuss the roles of these parties and providers in the claims and injury management process. Relevant Ohio statutes, rules, policies, and forms (i.e., MEDCO-14, and C-9 treatment requests) are covered. The audience is provided with takeaway materials to implement the tactics presented.
